Terms & Conditions
Last updated · 10 July 2026
These Terms & Conditions (the “Terms”) govern your use of the Sundance Festival 2027 pre-launch website located at sundancefestival.co (the “Site”) and the email early-access sign-up we offer through it (the “Service”). By submitting your email, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Who we are
The Site is operated by the Sundance Festival team (“we”, “our”, “us”). You can reach us at info@sundancefestival.co.
2. What the Service does
The Service lets you join a list to receive email updates about the 2027 edition of the festival — including pass on-sale windows, lineup reveals, lodging details, and other announcements. It does not sell passes, reserve inventory, or grant admission to the festival.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) to submit your email. If you are between 13 and the age of majority where you live, you confirm that a parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
4. Your submission
- You agree to provide an email address that you own or control.
- You agree not to submit anyone else’s email address without their permission.
- You agree not to submit information that is unlawful, abusive, defamatory, or that infringes anyone else’s rights.
- We may remove any submission at our discretion and without notice.
5. Communications
By signing up, you consent to receive transactional and marketing emails from us related to the festival. Every email includes an unsubscribe link. You can also opt out at any time by emailing us at the address above.
6. Intellectual property
The Site, its content, brand, logotype, and code are our property or that of our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works from any part of the Site without our prior written permission.
7. Third-party services
We rely on third-party providers to operate the Site and Service — including Vercel (hosting), Neon (database), Cloudflare R2 (asset storage), and Google (email delivery via Gmail SMTP). Your submission may be processed by these providers under their own terms and privacy policies.
8. Disclaimers
The Site and Service are provided “as is” and “as available”. We make no warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, about the Site’s uptime, accuracy, or completeness. Nothing on the Site should be treated as a binding commitment about the festival, its dates, its lineup, or the availability of passes.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Site or the Service. Our total aggregate liability to you is limited to the greater of USD 100 or the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim (which, for the Service, is zero).
10. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of the page. Continued use of the Site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which we are established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
